「半透明と薔薇」というタイトルは、特にテーマもなく、気ままに撮り溜めてきた写真を俯瞰し、着想を得ています。

簡潔に言うと、旅の写真集ですが、意識されないまちの日常や、その土地に漂う気配のようなもの、その眼差しや距離感が軸となり、一冊の本となりました。

めくっていくと、こんな場所に行ってみたいとワクワクしたり、こんな世界があると思えることで、心が少し楽になったり、読み返すたびに、少しだけ写真から見えてくることや印象が変わる、そんな発見があればうれしいです。

This is the first photobook by the photographer, fujico. This book ranges from cityscapes to abundant nature where fujico journeyed, comprising 172 photos taken in 11 countries and 34 cities.

The core of this work lies in a broad gaze at the subject, not limited to the framing of portrait and landscape photography. The unique distance between fujico and the subject depicts people’s lives as if capturing “the beauty of the moment when paints blend.” The photographer’s comments on each photo are included in the appendix, tracking the journey with the words.
